Amanda Ostrom, M.A., CD(DONA), with a wealth of childbirth expertise dating back to 2012, empowers Christian women & their birth partners with the knowledge and support they need to navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. With a steadfast belief in the transformative power of discernment and informed faith, Amanda curates personalized classes and birth prep tools that put the client at the heart of the decision-making process. She firmly believes in nurturing confidence and overall satisfaction during this profound journey, ensuring every woman feels supported and guided during this momentous time.

Personal History

  • I am a wife and mother of 3 who has literally lived from coast to coast.
  • (My niche) I am skilled to help Christian women & their families.
  • I see myself as your bridge to get you where you need to go.
  • I have my Master's of the Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 
  • I am a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International, trained in VBAC & Rebozo Uses for Pregnancy & Labor.
  • I serve as a member and previous President of the Professional Doulas of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
  • I view birth as a deep experience my clients can look back on and draw from.
  • I hope each client can take home that they are the decision-maker in every area of their life (including pregnancy and childbirth).

  • 2020, served as an officer (Vice President) for PDC
    • organized 1st Annual Professional Collaboration Event (Virtual) for PDC

  • 2022, served as an officer (President) for PDC
    • speaker (1 of 3 representing the PDC) at Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) Public Health event. Topic: Doulas, Improving Inequity and Outcomes in Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum
    • organized 3rd Annual Professional Collaboration Event (In-Person) for PDC
